Chester Brown to Tour Canada

Chester Brown’s LOUIS RIEL continues to be a real conversation starter in his native Canada, as RIEL remains a controversial historical figure. Brown will be touring to support the paper back release, Peggy Burns writes to tell us:

In October, Chester Brown will hit the road for a national tour of Canada to promote the paperback edition of the critically acclaimed LOUIS RIEL: A COMIC-STRIP BIOGRAPHY, complete with his legendary slide show of how he conceived, wrote and drew the book. Do not miss him, as this will probably the last time he will do the slide show!

They should have titled the article: «Chester Brown to tour western Canada» because even I would have to take a plane to see mr Brown

To bad he didn’t visit any comic shops on his tour, ya know, since he made a comic.

  4. Pennywise Books Says:

jjbar: No, actually he made a book — a biography, in fact — but in a comic format. File it under “Graphica”.
