VIDEO: Smigel does ANIME



This is sure to be taken down, so watch swiftly! Last weekend’s SNL featured a new TV Funhouse by Robert Smigel that spoofed anime via competitive hotdog eating champ Kobayashi. Good stuff.

    I love how it’s done in the Dragonball Z style (looks like a couple of Dragonball Z baddies make it in there too).

    I watched that laughing that they actually got Kobayashi to play himself.

    But just heard the crickets chirping from the audience. Not one of them I think had any idea what the joke was.

    Least we know Smigel’s an anime fan.
