L.L.L. was playing in Montreal a couple weeks ago and I have to say I loved it. The slow, meandering pace may turn off some viewers but on the whole it's a hugely satisfying film. Also, the soundtrack (by James Iha) is great. The film also stars Korean starlet, Bae Doo Na (Take Care of My Cat, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance) who, somehow, looks ten years younger (and in this role.

Arthur - you'll be glad to know the Ramones scene got one of the biggest laughs in the film.

While I haven't seen the film yet, one of the scenes features a friend of mine, Jim, as an extra, playing Joey Ramone. Some photos of his experience filming "Linda Linda Linda" can be seen on his site:

Jim's also a small press comic artist, and you can read some of his strips on his site, as well as at http://www.squareeyedstories.co.uk/
