Pictured above are the Amazons from Planet XXX, each named after popular Philippine actresses. Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah, the superpowered "heroine"of the book, also fights a marauding horde of zombies and a giant... er... frog from a volcano. I don't know how good the movie adaptation is but the gn is an incredibly entertaining read. I have a copy of book 1 of Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah (it’s a 2-book gn also collected as a tpb) and it’s one of the most hilarious indie comic I’ve ever read.
