I will miss him immensely. He was a huge inspiration. And while the major news outlets are going on the hook that he was a SF writer, which he was, he was also so much, much more, to the extent that decades from now your kids and grandkids will be asking you about him. Wiki him to get a preview of what you’ll tell them.

Man this is sad. This guy blew my mind when I was 15 , entertained the hell out of me at 30 and now I’m gonna have to dig out my Illuminatus trilogy and blow my mind again.
