1. This is an old rumor (well a month old…)

2. New Line was the first company to release Evil Dead back in the day- I guess (if true) this would be NL calling the favor in.

Hmmm…. I’ve been watching the HBO Philip Marlowe series featuring Powers Boothe and love it. Owen could do a great job, but since I love Boothe in the role, I have to admit I will be comparing Marlowes’ in the back of my mind.

I really liked Robert Altman’s “The Long Goodbye” which was set in the (then contemporary) 1970s. Completely different from the book, but it worked.
