"There were bins EVERYWHERE with badge holders and lanyards so that people who had pre-registered could simply grab a badge holder and walk in."

Unless you were me and my wife, who after we picked up the lanyard and badge holder were told that we had to go outside and stand in the line to get in. No walking right in for us.

[...] I’m sure I’m forgetting people — my apologies. There’s more I want to mention, but sleep is very necessary at this point, and the Oscars are coming on. I haven’t even talked about how much I enjoyed being part of the blogging panel Heidi put together. (Thank you, Heidi!) Meeting Ron and catching up with Chris was great — but I’m running out of complimentary adjectives! I was honored, especially during the after discussion, when David Brothers said I was an inspiration. [...]

[...] This made me actually laugh out loud. Heidi MacDonald from The Beat has been blogging updates from the 2007 New York Comic-Con: We moderated the blogging panel with Chris Butcher, Ron Hogan and Johanna Draper Carlson. Tip: with Chris and Johanna on a panel, there will never be an awkward silence. 2007 New York Comic Con, Comic Books [...]

"We were too late to see what had to be the highlight — Stan walking around and reacting to the pieces in the show."

Don't feel too bad. I missed my opportunity to tell Stan, "Naming one of your characters 'Peter' was the best thing you've ever done."
