Boy, what a couple of grumps. It's nice to see some publicity stunts for a new comic. Mr. Kirkman had some pages on display over at comicbookresources.com and it looks like a fun comic.

Phil Collins once did two shows in two different cities during Live Aid. He did a show in London and then flew via Concorde to Philly to do another set on the very same day.

And this was back in '86.

Nothing to see here, folks.

Big Deal. Michael Crichton once did FOUR cities in ONE day, and he started at 9 AM, not Midnight. He started in New York City; then signed at my bookstore in Washington, DC; then Chicago and Los Angeles. This was back when Twister was just released, as well as ER, and I think the book was Lost World. So to save himself some time, he did one day of book signings.

Still, kinda cool to do Free Comic Book Day at Midnight.
