I've already told you that I f***ing love these recaps. And god on earth was I disappointed that there was no fight last week. I'm glad Emerson is back, even though I think Corey has the advantage.

Personally, I'm pretty much fed up with this season. I'm already looking forward to the next season with Matt Serra and Matt Hughes as the coaches. That will be something to watch, as I have massive amounts of respect for Serra as a coach and a fighter.

Who's opposed to these recaps? I consider this a public service you're providing.

Ruediger is claiming he had strep throat during this episode, FWIW. Mr. Kayanan's comments are especially apt, I think, given the decline in ratings for this series. Dave Meltzer reports that series 6 and 7 will happen regardless of the ratings situation, but I wonder if this format has outlived its usefulness to UFC as a company. I still enjoy it, but I think I'm increasingly in the minority among dedicated followers of MMA.

I see, Ace, that you've once again seen fit to run a nude picture of me. This time I'm shown face down on the pavement, after enjoying a wild Saturday night. Hey, I can't help being such a lifelong party boy. But hopefully you'll just enjoy me for who I am - a guy with a really cute butt - and not judge me!

Love, Mr. Ed.
