Spam attack

Akismet, the spam filter, seems to be down or crashed or something, and in order to avoid a flood of spam comments you must now have an APPROVED comment in order to post. I have no idea how this will work, but we’ll learn as we go.

Fight spam!

    That sucks, but fighting the annoying spammers is a continuous battle!! Knowing is half the battle! :)

    Such a shame we have to be so defensive nowadays - those not caught up are left to rot in a sea of Spam. There should be a comic book made about it.

    Try installing the Bad Behaviour plugin as a contingency backup. Works a charm!

    I’ll second Bulent’s recommendation of Bad Behavior. I use Spam Karma instead of Akismet, but Bad Behavior is a very effective first line of defense for either.
