Genndy Tartakovsky on Cage
You can take your Millar and Hitch, the news from Chicago that MOST got us excited was animator Genndy Tartakovsky writing a Luke Cage mini-seres. :
Marvel’s hippest hero for hire from Harlem, Luke Cage—a.k.a. Power Man—returns from the ’70s with his own 2008-launching throwback mini-series taking true-believers back to the inceptive “blaxploitive” days of the character.
Emmy Award-winning writer and illustrator Genndy Tartakovsky, known for his beloved animated series “Dexter’s Laboratory,” “Samurai Jack” and “Star Wars: Clone Wars,” revives the fan-favorite tiara and chest hair-riffic open yellow shirt in a new out-of-continuity four-issue run taking a super-satirical look at 1970s Marvel comics.
Tartakovsky is a life-long comics fan and a great storyteller, so this is something to watch out for.

Man, he’s so great as a hip-hop bad ass in Iron Fist these days. I hope she does him proud.

Sweet Christmas - Genndy’s already done a wonderful job with his “Action Hank” blaxploitation send-up in various Dexter’s Lab shorts; this reimagining is sure to be a stone gas.

Samurai Jack is the best cartoon I’ve ever seen. I looking forward to this.

Why stop with the mini-series? Why not sell it to Cartoon Network and air it before or after Assy McGee?
