Well, the animation looks great, and I am looking forward to seeing it, but I have to wonder how close it will ring to Mirror Mask. I had read Coraline before seeing MM, so that when I did see it, I thought Neil Gaiman had re-written Coraline for the screen. I mean, they’re both about an evil which trying to be a little girl’s “new mom.” Is Dave McKean involved in this one, as well? I wonder.

CoralEYEne?
Took that Constanteen complaint to heart, then, Hollywood?
(okay, I’ve been pronouncing it wrong. I’m sorry.)

In Neil Gaiman’s website there is a larger version of the trailer although it requires a DivX plugin.

Didn’t they show this before the 3-D version of Beowulf?
