No, Heidi...I don't. You reported a rumor that you said had plenty of backup. Said you'd be delving into it more. Haven't seen you cover it any further and was curious. How would I know why you didn't cover a rumor that I didn't believe had any truth to it?

You posted over at Everyday is Like Wednesday:

You guys I stand by my rumor -- and the emails I got afterwards provided even more substantiation. However since everyone seems SO interested in this it should be a fertile ground for follow-up.

No follow-up? Or did your sources all of a sudden seem less trustworthy?

Why no apparent effort made to contact the concerned parties on that Newsarama/Quesada bit?

[...] You may recall that Quesada did something similar previously at Newsarama, but that site’s no longer the big kid on the online block. (Heidi has the rumor that “Marvel and the comics news giant had a falling out over a broken embargo.”) Newsarama preaches to the converted, but MySpace provides the not-yet-customers who might be convinced to start buying those hip comic things. And carefully selected questions and marketing-written answers can keep them looking hip. [...]

I'd argue this on Chris' own blog, but can't handle the onslaught he throws when anyone disagrees with him - BUT - for a guy who throws people out of his store for using the word "f_ _ _ ot" and constantly condemns homophobic materials but still brings them into his store regularly - i find these comments a little suspect, or at the least said to the tones of pounding one's own chest

Come on; that Newsarama bit is crazy. CBR clearly breaks embargos all the time. Joe Q obviously thinks that MySpace is the PromisedLand. Problem is that the child predators, high school girls, and casual networkers who dominate the place still won't care about comics.
