And yet someone else will still hire him because he's the guy who "created Spider Man." I'm sorry but Stan's ideas seemed to magically stop coming the minute he wasn't working with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko who actually did go on to create other interesting ideas. Yet Stan is such a smooth talker and likeable guy that someone will ALWAYS be willing to give the guy a huge check to give us more genius ideas like Striperella. And this will flop just like every single thing Lee has done since, what, about 1970.
