The tiara for the Wonder Woman costume was made by my partner, Don Hood, who made four of them on the request of Vogue magazine, for the exhibit.

His work on an exact replica of the Lynda Carter costume (patterned from an original) is on display at www.WonderWomanMuseum.com in the section called "The Mannequin Project"

We're not certain why they needed four tiaras, but they paid for them, so there you go!

Also not sure where they got the cape (according to the original costumer there was only one and it was destroyed due to mold) but it's on the mannequin at MOMA, as well as another one on display at WB Studio in Burbank.

And Lynda Carter wore the gold CBS bracelets at the gala reception. Not sure if they were the originals she owns or a set of replicas that I gave her last summer.

Reading the text available on the Met website, the thematic groupings struck me like one of those Science Museum exhibits where something popular is used to explain Science.

Sure, I'll go see it (like I need an excuse to visit the Met!) and I'll buy the book, but I'll probably enjoy the Pop Art on display and the Jeff Koons on the roof more.

Hey... POW uspide down is MOd!
