I’m sure this is a work that will produce memories for some over the coming years.

I wish “graphic” would stop being a synonym for “comics.” When you take “graphic” out of the context of “graphic novel” it just seems like it’s describing something explicitly violent or sexual.
It would be like taking “comic” out of “comic book” and calling it a “comic diary” which would lead most normal people to presume it’s a diary that will make you laugh.
Sorry — just being semantically pissy today.

Yes… “Visual diary” would be better.
And the cover design could be better. The “8″ looks terrible, the “0″ is too thick, the 17-striped shadow is distracting, what’s going on with that blue swirl, Obama’s screen is not consistent, and the whole design evokes 1976, not 2008.
However, the preview on his website is interesting.
