He gave me a pickle lunch box when I was six or so and I have loved him ever since. He is a wild and crazy man with a HUGE heart and I am very sad to hear that he has been hurt. Everyone should be so lucky to have met him and to have him be part of your hippy family. I will treasure my memories and hope for more to come. I met S. Clay only a few months ago. One minute I was sitting there drinking (I didn't REALLY think I'd had that many), and the next thing, I was waking up on the floor of a (dark) hotel room. S. Caly was gone and Texiera was sticking a bottle of advil in my face (think extreme fisheye prospective, like in Frankenheimer's Seconds). He said "Take this!", and ran out to the comic show. Later, I found this note in my pocket, written by SCW - the name of a book he'd been telling me about (The Fan Man by William Kotzwinkle). The note is still taped to my wall... man!
