Female Farce: Michele Bachmann comic

How did Bluewater miss this? A Minnesota-based group is putting out a comic based on “colorful” US Rep. Michele Bachmann:
FALSE WITNESS! THE MICHELE BACHMANN STORY is the thrilling, behind the scenes look at the seedy, hairy, loathsome underbelly of the career of of one of America’s most notorious right-wing nuts and demagogues! This is that one that TELLS IT ALL–it leaves NOTHING TO THE IMAGINATION! It’s all there, the global conspiracy to end American freedom, the apocalyptic last days of human kind, the lesbians in the bathroom, the threats, the vengeance, the Bush-kissing, the sordid lies, Satan, Jesus Christ, the flying imams–
Bachmann is known for her wacky statements, and the comic will be taken from her actual quotes, according to TPM:
Dump Bachmann contributor Bill Prendergast teamed up with local cartoonists in Minnesota to write an illustrated history of Bachmann’s career — with her dialogue all culled from actual media appearances, such as her call for revolution against President Obama, or her request for the media to investigate Congress for anti-American views.

Every once in a while - perhaps only once in a generation - we are blessed with a truly, clinically insane politician on the national scene. The wonderful thing is that Bachman’s home district in MN saw fit to re-elect her even after she’d manifested her craziness, and now she’s only gotten better and better. I think they must have just wanted to keep the joke going for two more years, for which I can only thank them profusely.

(PS - no I wouldn’t be so cavalier about it if she were in the Senate, where she could do any REAL damage. In the House, she’s just fodder for my amusement…)

Since I reside in Minnie, I get to see her campaign ads.
And, no, I don’t live in her district.

As another Minnesotan (also not in her district)…I find her a source of embarrassment and amusement…

There’s few politicians that you could just put up a photo and a quote and generate hilarity. Luckily, as Patrick notes, we’ve been blessed with one who can’t do too much more damage. At least for now.

Bachmann does not make wacky statements, she makes bigoted, hateful statements.

Hoo boy… just read the Wikipedia entry…
Thanks for the tip!

Joe Barton in Texas is pretty bonkers, too.

Bachmann is evil, like all Republicans.

I need to get this woman in my next story arc of Bomb Queen.
As for “All Republicans”… I personally wouldn’t use that blanket statement.

Jimmie, I understand that sentiment, but when you’ve got Chuck Dixon and friends writing paeans to torture over on his message board, it’s hard not to throw up in your mouth.

Bachmann IS crazy, but if any Republican needs their own wacky comic book about what they said, come to light, it’s one about…..ANN COULTER!!!! O.O
dun,dun,dunnnnnn
Although, apparently she WILL be in the Barack the Barbarian book.

Y’know, I’ve always had a sneaky suspicion that Coulter really doesn’t believe all the vitriol she spews. She just found a niche and exploited it for her own gain.
Bachmann, I think, is completely sincere about her statements.

Minnesota continues to be the laughingstock of elected officials. Didn’t they just elect Al Franken to the Senate? Anyone remember Jesse Ventura? Hooray for the intelligence of the hinterland.

Blackeye,
The common opponent for both Jesse and Al?
Norm Coleman.
’nuff said.
