[...] Was In Junior High, Dickhead” Jump to Comments Last month, Marvel Comics was bought by the good old folks at Disney. A few years ago, Disney alsopicked up a fledgling network by the name of ABC. Do you see where I’m heading with this? All signs point to a LOST comic series. All signs except the ones being staked in the ground by a couple of jokers named Damon and Carlton. Link. I assure you, despite what everyone else is saying, there will be a LOST comic. Even if I have to make it myself. [...]

Will episodes of Lost be fired into space after the series is done? No. Will Lost be made into a series of napkins? No. Tasteful ceramics? No, er... dunno.

[...] In just regular comic/TV show news, Brian K. Vaughan has left the Lost writing staff! To be honest, I was much more a fan of Paul Dini and (yes, it shocks me too) Jeph Loeb’s contributions. BKV got too… cosmic. (Not that I still didn’t enjoy Seasons 4 & 5.) Who will be replacing the Y: the Last Man writer? My money’s on Stan Lee. [...]

where did he go? what greener pastures?

Vaughan is said to be working on several film projects. IMDb has a list, and SciFi Squad's Mike Moody has a piece on Y: THE LAST MAN, including this:

Vaughan is reportedly working on a new Y script with Caruso and Disturbia co-writer Carl Ellsworth. 2011 can't come soon enough.

Well, on BKV's website his last posting is from a year ago, where he talks about working on a creator-owned mini-series and a huge original graphic novel. Perhaps either of these two came out or have been previous announced and I missed it but I'm assuming they are still in the works.

So does anyone know what BKV is doing right now? Ex Machina is in his last story arc and would like to see something new from him in the coming months or did he left comics for good?
