My favorite convention of the season. Looking forward to seeing friends, getting some autographs and plugging some gaps in my collection.

    Life is good.

Hey, I’ll be there! Be sure to say Hi. I’ll be the one selling the lady wrestling comic books. XD Its my first show but it looks like it’ll be a dandy.

Mid-Ohio Con is a great convention with very friendly folks. The Henry Brothers run a wonderful show. I’ll be at my booth #625. This year I’ll be surrounded by my good friends Lora Innes (The Dreamer IDW Publishing) Billy Tucci (Sgt. Rock DC Comics.) and Gary Kwapisz (Conan, Punisher Marvel Comics) Hope to see some of you there.

We interrupt this comments thread for a brief commercial announcement.

If you’re in town tonight (Friday), you may want to check out Columbus-based comics collective Panel’s annual pre-con party. Here’s the poster:

[…] The middle of America shouldn’t be left out of the weekend excitement, Mid-Ohio Con kicks of this Saturday and Sunday. Special guests include Mike Golden and Bernie Wrightson–good times to be had by all. […]

I went on Saturday and had a good time, as I always do.

Things seemed a bit slower than in previous years, but perhaps that is reflective of the economic times…or perhaps reflective of how many years I have been attending cons; it may all be getting less busy in my mind from having so much experience attending cons.
