A pleasant con, well-run by Eric Burris.
I sat by two writers, Brandon Jerwa and Eric Trautmann, who have the gift of gab.
Brandon was an afternoon DJ who used the moniker Vance Astro. Eric bid adieu to a Microsoft paycheck to leap into the freelance comics-writing unknown.
Their babe-in-Lovecraft-land strip Wide Awake has already drawn movie interest. Sheesh! I particularly like the caffeine-as-monster-repellant angle.
